When it comes to the future of your business, you want an accounting team as committed to your success as you are. Lethert is that team. Your team. We’ll come alongside you with the knowledge and longevity to bring your financial statements into accordance for any and every situation. One of the main ways we do that is by providing several attestation services, one of which is sure to fit your needs.

As we attest to the fairness of your financial information, there are several ways to handle that report, from a basic compilation to a full-scope audit. In order to make that determination, we’ll first address the purpose of the service required. What is the bank, owner, investor, or management group looking for?

An audit is the highest level of attest services a CPA can provide and, as such, is the most costly. This deep dive into your accounts checks for conformance to defined requirements, examines your resources, and makes sure your processes are not only adequate but effective. We will also offer recommendations for improvement, ensuring that your financial statements are clear and ready for your business’s next step.

Reviews don’t go as deep but still offer a higher level of assurance than a compilation, which is limited to the information in the specific form requested. And it should be noted that the accountant offers no opinion regarding the statement in the case of a compilation.

Compilations and Preparation engagements offer the least amount of assurance, but are very popular with many lenders and owners.  This can give a complete set of financials to allow management to stay on top of operations.

Lethert offers these assurance services to improve the quality of information disseminated to the decision makers who are working toward your future success!
