How to Create a SafeSend Portal

Lethert uses an electronic delivery system for tax returns called SafeSend Returns. SafeSend Returns allows qualifying clients to review their tax return and sign their e-file authorization form(s) online. Once the form(s) are signed, SafeSend Returns automatically and securely sends the form(s) back to Lethert, Skwira, Schultz & Co. LLP. The following steps will walk you through the process of creating a new portal, accessing that portal, and setting up your personal login credentials. Please follow the steps carefully to ensure a smooth experience. You do not need to create a portal to access your tax return. A portal is simply an option you can choose that allows you to access all your SafeSend activity in one place.

The process is easy. Here’s how it works:

  1. You’ll receive an email on behalf of Lethert from noreply@safesendreturns.com or noreply@safesend.com.

  2. Click Sign Up.

  3. Enter your Name.

  4. Enter Email ID.

  5. Enter a Mobile Phone Number (optional).

  6. Click Verify your Email.

  7. Enter the Access Code sent to your Email.

  8. Click Confirm.

  9. Type a 6-digit PIN into PIN field (used for future logins).

  10. Type the same 6-digit PIN into the Confirm Pin field.

  11. Click Create Account.

Signing In to Your Portal

Now that your account is created, you can sign in using your email and the PIN you just set up. Follow any additional instructions provided in the Client Portal to access your account and manage your interactions with the firm.

By following these steps, you should have successfully created and accessed your account on the Client Portal. If you encounter any issues during this process, do not hesitate to reach out to our support team or read this guide on how the portal should be used.
